Hydraulics may not be the first thing you think of when you think of special effects. But hydraulics allows us to create a wealth of different special effects. We can use hydraulic rams to move things and push things over. We also use them to make things rotate. We hide the hydraulic rams or the rotating table within the prop, creating a “can’t believe your eyes” effect.
When you need a special effect that involves something being moved, the chances are, it’ll be hydraulics you need. But it’s our job to know that, not yours. So tell us the effect you need to create and we’ll get on with the job of creating it.
